There are parts of central Florida that haven’t changed in thousands of years. They are still pretty much untouched although you have to get off the beaten path to see them.

So we decided to check out one of those places for a little trip back in time. The Good Day staff headed to the Black Hammock in anchor’s away.

Hi Meryl,

We are so glad to be back in Jacksonville after holding our conference for the week in Orlando.
Our conference was a success in both Orlando & Oviedo.  As I told you Thursday night, we were completely happy with the performance of Black Hammock/staff.  Our own employees are my toughest critics – they did not know what to expect at Black Hammock other than the air boat, as I sort of kept them in the dark.  They have all told me they thought it was a great choice and that all the customers they talked with that night and since, have only had positive things to say.  I do want to give a special “high five” to Bethany – on our first trip down she told me not to worry and that she would take care of decorations and any other problem we might have.  She did a super job and always had a smile on her face.  Everyone on your staff had a positive attitude and wanted to please.  The food was very good…well from a personal standpoint I missed all the appetizers but dinner I know was good .  The atmosphere was just what we were looking for.  So a big thank you to all at Black Hammock from Joel, yourself, Bethany, Ashley, Cammie, the air boat captains and the chef and servers!
