1. Sunscreen
If you’re vacationing in the Sunshine State, sunscreen should be one of the items at the top of your packing list.
A single unprotected day in the sun can derail the rest of your trip. Pack plenty of sunscreen so you can enjoy activities such as an airboat tour without the fear of painful burns.
2. Camera
While cameras are a feature on virtually every smartphone these days, even the best smartphone camera can’t compare to a traditional DSLR camera.
If you do have one of these cameras, make sure to bring it along. You’ll want to capture the moment you run into a gator on your airboat tour, and you don’t want to miss the many amazing species of birds that can be found on Bird Island, either.
Even if you’re not planning on an airboat tour, you’ll want to get some shots of our gators: Chewie, Chloe, Grumy, Ziggie, Spikey, and Peaches.

3. Toothpaste and Toothbrush

Don’t forget to pack away that ID to make sure you can kick back along the shore of Lake Jesup with a cold drink whenever the moment calls for it.
