Community Involvement Guidelines

Fundraiser/Charity Donation Requests: All fundraiser and charity requests should be submitted in writing.

Please submit request to management in person or by fax at the following:

  • Include the organization’s full name, address, phone number, fax number and a contact person’s name.
  • State your fundraiser/charity/donation request, when it is needed, how it will benefit the community and how the donations will be used.
  • Include how the contribution from The Black Hammock-Lazy Gator will be recognized.
  • The organization’s Federal Tax ID number must be listed on your request.
  • Please submit written requests at least 30 days prior to the date the donation is needed.


Please note that The Black Hammock-Lazy Gator Bar does not make cash donations, nor do we donate to individuals and individual causes. After submitting your organization’s request, we will call you with any questions we have and will discuss in detail how we can help your cause.

Please note: All submissions are reviewed at a first-come-first-serve basis, so we encourage early submission (60-90 days).

Please be advised: Past support does not ensure future support. All food requests are done on a local level at The Black Hammock Restaurant.
